Let’s face it: there is a lot to love about LuLaRoe clothing. I LOVE that the clothes are incredibly soft, don’t wrinkle, and I get to shop for them from the comfort of my home or at-home parties. The clothes aren’t cheap, and in order to ensure they clothes maintain their softness and don’t get holes, it is important to care for them well. (Be sure to scroll to the bottom to learn about my upcoming LuLaRoe IN-PERSON party!)
Here’s what you need to know about caring for LuLaRoe clothing:
• Before you wash or wear your LuLaRoe, inspect each and every piece very, very carefully–this includes all seams and hems, as well as the inside and outside of the waist band of leggings. If you see any holes before wearing, be sure to contact the LuLaRoe consultant from whom you purchased your clothing.
• When it is time to wash, turn all pieces inside out and sort by color. Given the drought in California, I throw clothes in with my LuLaRoe that are soft and won’t snag on them (no zipper, velcro, etc.)
• Even though I sort my clothes, I still use a Shout Color Catcher in the wash because of all of the patterns and bright colors. I always wash in Woolite on the gentle/hand wash cycle.
• Although some LuLaRoe clothing says you can put it in the dryer, my understanding is that this practice typically ends in tragic results. LuLaRoe wash day in my house means there are clothes hanging every where.
